What data we collect and why
Site Audit Tool
When you use our free site audit, we collect the URL you submit. Optionally, you may also provide your business name, city, and email address. This data is processed to run the audit and, if an email is provided, to send you the audit report. We do not store audit submissions beyond what is needed to generate and deliver the report.
Contact Form
When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and message. We may also collect your business name and website URL if you provide them. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymized data including pages visited, time on site, and general location (city/country level). We may also use the Facebook Pixel to measure the effectiveness of any advertising campaigns. Both tools use cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate this site and deliver our audit:
- Netlify — hosts this website and processes contact form submissions
- Google PageSpeed Insights API — analyzes site performance as part of the free audit
- n8n — our automation platform, processes audit requests including PageSpeed data and Google Business Profile lookups
- DataForSEO — provides keyword ranking data as part of the audit
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising measurement (if applicable)
We do not sell your data to any third party.
Cookies
This site uses cookies from Google Analytics and, if applicable, the Facebook Pixel. These are analytics and advertising measurement cookies. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry. Audit data is transient and not retained after the audit is delivered. Analytics data is retained per the default settings of Google Analytics 4 (14 months).
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
